In its current iteration the ZX-10 uses the best attributes of both previous designs. Since inception, the Ninja ZX-10R has received two major overhauls. Originally released for the 2004 model year, the ZX-10R Superbike is the successor to the Ninja ZX-9R sportbike. The Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R motorcycle represents the evolution in Kawasaki Heavy Industries open-class sportbike development.
